A Motivational Czech course in a small group for 4–6 people is something we do together! I give you tips on materials and conversation topics, but what will actually be the priority in the next lesson is something we all decide together.
👉 The Motivational Czech course is:
- a combination of Czech and mental well-being
- conversation about real-life topics and things that are important to you
- inspiration, motivation and sharing in a kind, positive atmosphere
What can you expect from the Motivational Czech course?
Every course is a little different, but always as positive and joyful as possible. The priority of the course is not “just” Czech, but also positive energy and a good mood.
That doesn’t mean we talk only about cheerful topics. Sometimes we also talk about life situations that can be difficult and complicated. That’s important too, because when we start talking about such situations, you see that others experience similar things and that you are not alone.
At the beginning, you may be afraid to speak – that’s normal – but you’ll see that the fear disappears quickly because you’ll meet other interesting people in the same situation.
Every week, you can look forward to a lot of speaking. There can be 6 people in the course, but you will be speaking for the whole hour, because we use breakout rooms (BR). That means you are in a separate “conversation room” with just one other person (there are only two of you, and I “drop in for a visit”). In every lesson, you have the chance to speak a lot, and we do several BR rounds, so you’ll quickly get to know everyone in the group very well.
The atmosphere of the course is motivating and friendly – you’ll feel like you’re talking with a good friend about real topics from your life.
At the end of each lesson, we talk about what was most important and what will be the priority next time, so we always speak Czech about real topics that interest you and matter to you.
What topics can we talk about?
It can be a podcast you enjoy listening to. Sometimes we can talk about a story from my newsletter, and you’ll share your own experience. We can also talk about a series or a book you like, or about a situation from your current life.
You don’t have to worry that you won’t know which topic should be your priority. I’m always happy to help you and inspire you with topics you can always choose from. You’ll also have access to a Google document with materials, and we’ll communicate together in a WhatsApp group as well.
What is included in the Motivational Czech course?
- Online lessons on Zoom once a week – 60 minutes
(you speak for the whole lesson thanks to small breakout rooms) - Conversation about real-life topics
(like talking with a good friend) - A shared Google document with materials for each lesson
(texts, links to audio/video materials, new words in practical context, tips and inspiring questions) - A WhatsApp group for the whole duration of the course – I’m available to you every day if you need it
(we continue the conversation and sharing even after the lesson) - A short motivational journal
(you write down important AHA moments, tips and inspiration for others)

What will the course bring you?
- confidence to speak Czech
(you’ll speak for the whole lesson, and the topic will be so interesting for you that you’ll forget you’re speaking Czech – language progress will happen automatically) - motivation to integrate Czech into your life
(others will share tips on what helps them and what they enjoy; you’ll then choose what inspires you) - new language friends, with whom you’ll actively communicate for one hour every week
+ you’ll also support each other between lessons in the WhatsApp group - joy and positive energy
(the topics will be motivating, so you’ll strengthen your positive mindset)
Czech will become your joy. 😊
What course graduates say:
💬 “I would recommend the course to a friend because we talked a lot about important life topics that made us think deeply. That also really helped me speak Czech faster and without pauses.”
(Ashley B.)
💬 “Thanks to the motivational course with Veronika, I learned a lot of new words and I’m more motivated and confident.”
(Cassandra D.)
💬 “In the course, I learned a lot about myself and also improved my ability to speak Czech.”
(Joan K.)

The goal of the course is to help you integrate Czech into your life and also motivate you to have more energy and joy in your life.
Is the course for you?
✅ Yes, if:
- you are communicative – you like to talk and want to talk even more
- you are open and friendly
- you want to meet new interesting people and spend pleasant conversational moments with them
- you communicate in Czech at least at A2 level
What now?
Do you like the idea of the Group Motivational Course, but you’re not 100% sure yet whether you’re interested?
Then book a free 15-minute video call, where you’ll get to know me and ask anything that’s still unclear.
I’ll also be very happy to get to know you before the course!
❓ What else might you want to know?
1️⃣ How difficult are the texts and conversations for A2 level?
About the same level as my blog texts. If you understand my blog articles and newsletters, you’ll be comfortable with the lesson materials too.
Can you speak Czech with family or friends about everyday topics, but sometimes you search for words, need more time, or want to say something differently?
Do you understand adapted podcasts for A2 level (for example my podcast Czech with Veronika)?
Then the course won’t be a problem for you.
Before the course, we’ll also have a short call, so I’ll hear your Czech in advance.
2️⃣ Do I have to prepare between lessons? How much time will I need?
You can come to the lesson even if you didn’t have time to prepare.
This is not school. I don’t give homework, only tips and recommendations. You choose what you want or don’t want to do and how much time you give to Czech between lessons.
3️⃣ How actively is the WhatsApp group used? Is it mandatory?
Every week I send information about the next lesson to the WhatsApp group, and sometimes we also vote (run a poll) on what topic we’ll have next. How active you want to be in the WhatsApp group is completely up to you.
If you don’t want to communicate on WhatsApp, you don’t have to, and that’s totally fine. And if you want to communicate every day, that’s fine too. You decide 😉
4️⃣ Will we also do grammar in the course?
The course is primarily conversational and motivational.
During the lesson, I write new words and phrases into the Google document, and sometimes, if I hear that you also need help with grammar, we can briefly talk about grammar, but it’s not the priority of the course.
However, in the course you’ll hear and see a lot of Czech sentences in real context, so you’ll practice grammar automatically.
5️⃣ What if I can’t attend a lesson?
If you can’t attend, I’ll appreciate it if you write to me on WhatsApp before the lesson.
You’ll always see in the Google document what we did in the lesson, and if you want, you’ll get questions from me or the others on WhatsApp, which you can answer by text or audio message.
Another option is that you write a short text on the lesson topic and receive short feedback from me.
❗ However, we do not record the lessons.
6️⃣ How long will I have access to the course materials?
The Google document and the WhatsApp group will be available to you even after the course ends.
7️⃣ I’m an introvert and I’m afraid to speak. Is the course for me?
Yes, the course is also for introverts!
Being afraid is completely normal, but what’s important is the desire to communicate, meaning WANTING TO TALK TO OTHERS.
8️⃣ How and when do I pay for the course?
I’ll send you an invoice before the course. If you have a Czech or euro account, you’ll pay by bank transfer (you can pay in Czech crowns or euros).
If you don’t have a euro or Czech account, you’ll pay via Wise.
If you want to pay by card like in an e-shop, that’s also possible, but in that case the course price will be 10% higher.
We’ll arrange it individually!
9️⃣ Can I try the first lesson and then decide?
Yes. If we don’t know each other yet and you’d like to try the first lesson without commitment, we can arrange it individually so that you pay for the first lesson only, and I’ll send the invoice for the rest of the course after the first lesson.
Before the course, we’ll also meet on a short free video call, which will help us find out whether I’m the right motivational teacher for you.
